YOUTH BOXING CLASSES

Youth Boxing Classes at the Warzone are intended for 8 to 12-year-old boys and girls. This is a beginners and novice group that offers structured classes for self-defense and fitness. They will learn the basics of footwork & head movement and get in shape. Every step will be supervised to keep them interested and give them real training.

Classes are scheduled at 5:00 pm on Tuesday & Thursday’s or Saturday & Sunday’s at 10:00 am. The price is $75 a month with no contracts or enrollment fees. Once a student’s interest grows they can move into our 4 days per week schedule. Training for this is Monday thru Thursday from 5 to 6:00 pm and is priced at $80 per month. This however is a 9-month contract.

We have one of the most successful programs, many of our students are still part of our family today. Professional boxers like Anthony “Baby Assassin” Villarreal, the Famous Brothers Carlos & Giovanni Ruffo, and Michael “Lil Warrior” Franco & Daniel “Twitch” Franco who all started here. All of these talented boxers were under 10 years old when they started training at the Warzone.

Anthony is currently ranked among the Top Twenty Flyweights in the World as a Professional. He began his career at the young age of 9 and today at 26, is still part of the Warzone. Brothers Michael “Lil Warrior” Franco & Daniel “Twitch” Franco are both among the top prospects in the professional ranks with records of “19 & 1” and “11 & 0” respectively. They are also both coaches at our club.

The Ruffo Bros, Giovanni & Carlos both started with the Warzone Team when they were 4 & 6 and now at age 9 & 11 have their own Tap-Out Commercials seen nationwide and are recognized as the Future of MMA around the World. We only trained them to use their hands, but that’s what got them their recognition. Great handwork is their signature and they got that at the Warzone.

Our classes teach kids discipline, focus, how to work with others, and proper technique. We make it fun, we know when they’ve had enough and when we can get more out of them. This why our kids stay with our program and our history is proof of this.
